In Kentucky we stayed in Cave City, spent the week exploring Mammoth Cave, Valor earned his first Junior Rangers badge, and the boys got to tour Dinosaur World.
After KY, we headed to Skull Island Campground in Harrison, Tennessee. When we were about 15 minute away from arriving to the island, we were side-swiped, causing damage to the driver side of our RV. Thankfully it was minor! On Skull Island we celebrated Halloween and my (Kara) birthday. My parents came down and we had a beautiful time. We selected a peaceful waterfront property and the boys met their first full-time RVer friends.
For my birthday, the boys, my parents and I went on a day hike through TN's first state park, Harrison Bay State Park. Then when Nick was finished working, we went for a delicious vegan dinner and walked across the Chattanooga bridge and around the Bluff View Art District.
We are now in Panama City Beach, Florida and will be here for six weeks. We are loving the mid-80s temperature in November! We have been enjoying the pools and looking forward to lots of time at the beach while we are here. The boys have met a new friend, and can be found riding bikes and scootering all around. And of course, I'll share more photos and experiences when our six weeks is up.
