After leaving Texas we wanted to experience a little bit of New Mexico. Due to the weather being too cold, we opted for a one night stay at a Harvest Host — La Vina Winery. We had the opportunity to explore and taste a little bit of the oldest wine growing area in the United States — the Rio Grande Valley! We walked around the vineyard, surrounded by pecan orchards, cotton fields, and beautiful mountains.
